New Treatment Option

PR new option

Pulsar Vascular’s first product, the PulseRider® is a self expanding nitinol implant designed for the treatment of complex aneurysms. This new device provides an endovascular option to patients and physicians previously not available. The PulseRider® acts as a neck bridge for wide neck aneurysms arising at or near a vessel bifurcation.

The PulseRider is used in conjunction with embolic coils. If an unruptured aneurysm is treated successfully using endovascular techniques, the recovery period is generally shorter than for open surgery.

After coiling an aneurysm, an angiogram or MRA is usually performed within the next 6 to 12 months to make sure the aneurysm remains blocked from the cerebral circulation.
